HAFIK LAKE, which has been mentioned by SİVAS TIMES NEWSPAPER for years and is the LITTLE BLACK SEA of SİVAS, is finally being evaluated. A hot air balloon test was carried out to develop tourism in Hafik Lake, which was determined as a "sensitive area to be strictly protected" in 2020 and hosts many birds. The hot air balloon test, organized by Kültür A.Ş. under the leadership of Sivas Governorship, was successfully carried out.
Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek said, “We are currently around Hafik Lake. Today, we conducted a hot air balloon flight trial at Hafik Lake, one of the unique natural beauties of our city. We climbed to an altitude of approximately 1,100 meters and watched this beautiful lake from the air. We also saw the beauties around it. It was a smooth, safe flight. From here we understand that this place is also extremely suitable for balloon tourism. Hopefully we will focus on promoting this place. Our flights will continue and hopefully this will be a new destination in terms of balloon tourism. "Thus, we are adding a new one to the tourism riches of our province," he said. With the balloon tours that will be offered to citizens very soon, the natural beauties and geological structures in the region will be able to be viewed from a bird's eye view and nature lovers will have unforgettable moments.
